The Baltic Yearbook of International Law invites articles for its 25th volume on contemporary challenges in private international law and arbitration.
About Riga Graduate School of Law
Riga Graduate School of Law is collaborating with the publisher Brill/Nijhoff on the 25th volume of the Baltic Yearbook of International Law. The Yearbook has been published since 2001 and covers a wide range of themes in international and European law.
The publication also provides selected and organised information on the state practice of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania concerning major issues of international law.
About the Opportunity
The Baltic Yearbook of International Law is inviting scholars from across the Baltic States and beyond to submit articles for its 25th anniversary volume.
Volume 25 will focus on contemporary challenges in private international law and arbitration. The volume will consider challenges facing core EU private international law instruments, as well as the consequences of CJEU case law in the field of arbitration, alongside other themes within private international law.
The anniversary volume will be edited in cooperation between Riga Graduate School of Law and Brill/Nijhoff, under the general editorship of Professors Ineta Ziemele, Lauri Malksoo and Dainius ลฝalimas.
Articles published in the Yearbook are peer-reviewed and indexed by the Scopus database.
Deadline
Articles must be submitted by 30 September 2026.

Authors are required to follow the Baltic Yearbook of International Law Guidelines for Authors while preparing their submissions.
