About the Centre of Excellence in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence Governance & Ethics (CAGE)

The Centre of Excellence in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence Governance & Ethics (CAGE) at NUSRL Ranchi works in the areas of technology law, responsible innovation, research, training and outreach.

CAGE undertakes academic programmes in Cyber Law, Digital Forensics, Data Protection and AI Governance, along with national conferences, policy dialogues, research initiatives, hackathons, cyber drills, cyber moot courts, internships and mentorship programmes. Its initiatives also include cyber legal aid, digital safety awareness and outreach programmes for various communities.

About the Opportunity

CAGE, NUSRL Ranchi, is inviting applications for the position of Campus Ambassador. The role is intended for students who can promote CAGE’s programmes and initiatives within their institutions and local communities while developing outreach and awareness activities.

Selected Campus Ambassadors will act as a link between their institution and CAGE, support awareness campaigns, disseminate information about CAGE’s programmes and help expand the visibility of its research and activities.

Duration

The Campus Ambassador position requires a commitment of 3 months. The tenure may be increased based on performance.

Mode

The position is part-time and voluntary.

Remuneration

The position is unpaid.

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled in a recognised college or university.
• Self-motivated and responsible candidates with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Candidates with an interest in cyber law, AI governance and digital ethics.

Roles & Responsibilities

Campus and Community Outreach

Campus Ambassadors will promote CAGE events and initiatives within their campus and city and identify suitable avenues for outreach.

Institutional Coordination

They will act as a strategic link between their institution and CAGE and facilitate communication regarding relevant programmes and initiatives.

Awareness Campaigns

Selected candidates will build a team, identify outreach opportunities and assist in executing awareness campaigns.

Social Media and Peer Outreach

Campus Ambassadors will disseminate updates regarding CAGE’s programmes through social media platforms and peer networks.

Promotion of Research and Activities

The role will involve supporting efforts to expand the visibility of CAGE’s research, programmes and other activities.

Selection Process

Applications and CVs will be reviewed by the CAGE team. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online, following which final confirmation will be communicated by email.
