About the Opportunity

Selected candidates will handle litigation matters, undertake court appearances, prepare cases and coordinate with clients and counsel.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have:

• An LL.B. or equivalent law qualification from a recognised university.
• At least six years of post-qualification experience in litigation, including prior law firm experience in civil and criminal litigation.
• Strong drafting, research and analytical skills.
• Experience in court appearances, case preparation and briefing Senior Advocates.
• Sound knowledge of court procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple matters independently.

Graduates of National Law Universities will receive preference.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft and review pleadings, applications, written submissions and other legal documents.
• Research legal issues, prepare case briefs and develop litigation strategies.
• Appear before courts and tribunals.
• Brief Senior Advocates and arguing counsel for hearings.
• Coordinate with clients and counsel and manage filings, documentation and deadlines.
