About the Job Opportunity
The selected candidate will lead complex commercial contracting and provide legal advice to business and operational teams. The role includes cross-border negotiations, technology-related regulatory work, team mentoring and improvements to contracting processes.
Eligibility and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Hold an LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognised institution.
- Have 11–16 years of experience, with strong expertise in commercial contracting.
- Possess hands-on experience negotiating complex technology, IT services, outsourcing and vendor agreements.
- Have exposure to international transactions and multi-jurisdictional contracting.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Have experience in team leadership, mentoring and process improvement.
Experience in IT services, consulting, technology, cloud, cybersecurity, healthcare or financial services will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected professional will:
- Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of MSAs, SOWs, outsourcing agreements, vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, NDAs and data protection agreements.
- Work with business, procurement, finance, delivery, privacy and security teams to provide practical legal advice based on risk.
- Support cross-border contracting across the United States, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
- Advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, AI and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, the EU AI Act, HIPAA, HITECH and DORA.
- Lead negotiations with customers, vendors, subcontractors and external counsel.
- Mentor legal professionals and improve contracting playbooks, templates, processes and legal operations.
Location and Work Model
The position is available at select office locations across India.
The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring one to two days in the office each week.
