About the Opportunity
Lex Credence is inviting applications for Junior Associate and Senior Associate positions in its Litigation Team. Candidates will be expected to assist with litigation matters, prepare pleadings and briefs, analyse legal precedents, and attend court hearings.

Positions
Junior Associate
Candidates with zero to two years of work experience may apply.
Senior Associate
Candidates with more than two years of work experience may apply.
Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Associate applicants should have zero to two years of work experience.
- Senior Associate applicants should have more than two years of work experience.
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English, Marathi, and Hindi.
- Applicants should demonstrate strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates must be willing to undertake court appearances and legal drafting assignments.
- Applicants must maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
- A minimum commitment of two years is required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation and Court Proceedings
- Handle civil, criminal, and commercial litigation proceedings.
- Attend court hearings and appearances.
- Prepare briefs for senior advocates.
Legal Drafting
- Draft pleadings, plaints, written statements, applications, and legal notices.
- Assist with preparing documents required for litigation proceedings.
Legal Research and Analysis
- Analyse legal precedents, statutes, and case law.
- Conduct legal research to develop strategic legal views for matters.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Readiness to handle court-related work and drafting assignments.
