About the Opportunity

Selected students will support the Legal & Compliance team on contracts, research and company records. The role offers an opportunity to observe how legal analysis informs business decisions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Fourth- or fifth-year students pursuing a five-year integrated LL.B.
• Sound grounding in contract and company law, with prior law-firm internships required.
• Commercial or transactional experience is advantageous.
• Research, writing and statutory analysis skills, familiarity with contract terminology, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Careful, professional working habits.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review commercial documents, including confidentiality, procurement and customer agreements.
• Help maintain templates and draft contractual clauses.
• Research negotiation issues and contractual risks.
• Study Indian laws relating to technology, privacy, employment, contracts and companies; prepare notes and internal briefs.
• Update litigation trackers and assist with statutory filing records.

The placement covers commercial contracting, corporate governance, compliance and legal risk assessment within an international organisation.
