Eligibility Criteria

• An LL.B. qualification.
• Experience in legal collections.
• Ability to handle escalations, including police escalations.
• Awareness of market practices in collections.
• Collaboration, teamwork and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Law firms and the financial services industry are the preferred industry backgrounds.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Achieve recovery targets in accordance with the agreed MOU and provide daily legal support for collection of customer dues.
• Support the handling of customer escalations before courts, quasi-judicial forums and investigating authorities.
• Provide legal support to sales and collections functions for escalation cases against employees.
• Prepare and maintain MIS for decentralised legal collection matters in assigned regions.
• Represent the company in collection matters.
• Provide administrative support to litigation and advisory teams, including drafting replies and preparing evidence.

Performance Measures

The role is assessed through recovery targets, win ratio, resolution of escalated cases, business feedback on regional legal collection support and adherence to agreed processes.
