Its practice includes work under the Companies Act, 2013 and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, with significant matters before the NCLT and NCLAT, as well as cases before the High Court of Madras, DRT, DRAT, RERA and other forums.
About the Opportunity
AMA is looking to hire two Associates for its practice. Candidates based in and around Chennai, Tamil Nadu will be preferred for logistical viability.
The role will involve work relating to corporate and commercial disputes, litigation, arbitration and matters before various courts and tribunals.

Location
Candidates based in and around Chennai, Tamil Nadu are preferred.
Experience
Applicants with 1–2 years of experience will be preferred.
Remuneration
Remuneration will be subject to discussion.
Eligibility
Candidates with the following background will be preferred:
- 1–2 years of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
- Knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Understanding of contract laws.
- Familiarity with arbitration.
- Knowledge of other major substantive laws.
- Candidates based in and around Chennai/Tamil Nadu are preferred.

The selected Associates will assist in matters involving corporate and commercial disputes and litigation.
Insolvency & Company Law
The role will involve work relating to the IBC, 2016 and Companies Act, 2013, including matters before the NCLT and NCLAT.
Arbitration
Associates will also work on arbitration-related matters handled by the firm.
Litigation & Tribunal Matters
The practice involves matters before the High Court of Madras, DRT, DRAT, RERA and other forums.
