Woxsen University School of Law invites law students to participate in LEX PAX Mediation Competition 2.0, a national virtual mediation competition focused on negotiation, communication, mediation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

The School of Law, Woxsen University, approved by the Bar Council of India, promotes innovative, inclusive, and experiential legal education. About the Competition
LEX PAX Mediation Competition 2.0 is being organised in collaboration with IAMC Hyderabad and IIDRC, with KFCRI as the Knowledge Partner. The virtual competition will give participants an opportunity to demonstrate mediation, negotiation, communication, and dispute-resolution skills before experienced evaluators.
Each team will consist of three members: one mediator and a client-counsel pair. The competition is limited to 30 teams, so interested institutions should complete registration early.
Eligibility
- Open to bona fide students enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year law programme at a recognised institution.
- The participating institution must have a programme approved or recognised by the Bar Council of India.
- Each institution may register a maximum of two teams.
- Each team must include one mediator and one client-counsel pair.
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted online on October 9 and 10, 2026. Preliminary and quarter-final rounds are scheduled for October 9, followed by the semi-final, final, and valedictory programme on October 10.
- Preliminary and quarter-final rounds: 30 minutes each.
- Semi-final and final rounds: 45 minutes each.
- Teams may use one caucus, subject to the round rules and prescribed time limits.
- The best eight negotiating pairs and eight mediators from the preliminary stage will advance to the quarter-finals, followed by four semi-finalists and two finalists.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is ₹3,000 per team. Teams should complete the registration form and pay the fee through the official LEX PAX portal before the deadline.

- Best Negotiating Pair: ₹25,000
- Runner-up Negotiating Pair: ₹12,500
- Best Mediator: ₹6,000
- Runner-up Mediator: ₹3,000
- Best Negotiating Pair from the preliminary rounds: ₹6,000
- Best Mediator from the preliminary rounds: ₹2,500
- Internship opportunities with IAMC Hyderabad, KFCRI, and IIDRC
