Kishinchand Chellaram Law College is a Mumbai law institution established in 1955. Its official profile describes the college as permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. About the Conference

Kishinchand Chellaram Law College and Haveli Institute of Legal Studies and Research are organizing an interdisciplinary countrywide conference on “Viksit Bharat @2047: Transforming Aspirations into Opportunities, Addressing Challenges and Shaping Legal, Educational and Social Futures.” The conference will be held in hybrid mode on October 23, 2026.

The conference will provide a platform for students, research scholars and young minds from different academic disciplines to exchange ideas on India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047. Discussions will consider the role of education, law, technology, innovation, governance, social inclusion, sustainability and youth development in shaping India’s future.

Participants may submit papers on the following interdisciplinary sub-themes:

Submission Guidelines

• Submissions must be original, unpublished research papers written in English.
• The full paper must not exceed 3,500 words and may be written by one author or one author with one co-author.
• The first page must include the research paper title, author name, class, college name, email address and mobile number.
• The paper should be submitted as a Word file using Times New Roman, with the title in 14-point font, subtitles in 12-point font, body text and footnotes in 10-point font, and 1.5 line spacing.
• Use a 1.5-inch left margin and a 1-inch right margin.
• References must be provided at the end of the paper in APA style, with the complete URL included for website references.
• A plagiarism report showing less than 10% similarity must be submitted with the paper.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students from all academic streams may participate.
• Research scholars may submit research papers and participate.

Registration Fees

• Authors and co-authors: Rs. 500 each.
• Participants: Rs. 300 each.

Payment must be made through the payment process specified by the organizers, and a screenshot of the payment must be uploaded in the registration form. Both authors of a co-authored paper must register individually.
