About the Opportunity

NSPCL has notified Recruitment Advertisement No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of Sr. Assistant Officer / Sr. Assistant Engineer in the HR, Law, Electrical, Mechanical, C&I and IT disciplines in E1 Grade. Under this NSPCL recruitment 2026 drive, 17 posts have been notified across the six disciplines, including one post of Sr. Assistant Officer (Law).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Sr. Assistant Officer (Law) should hold a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised university or institute.

Candidates should also have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in an organisation of repute, dealing with litigation handling, drafting and vetting of contracts and documents, providing legal opinions, arbitration and dispute resolution, statutory and regulatory compliance, coordination with advocates and regulatory authorities, and advising on legal matters. Experience in the power infrastructure, engineering or manufacturing sector shall be desirable.

SC/ST/PwBD candidates with pass marks are eligible to apply.

Selection Process

The selection may comprise application shortlisting or screening based on qualification, percentage of marks and years of post-qualification experience, a written or computer-based test, a personal interview, or a combination of these. The management may conduct a multi-stage selection process to restrict the number of candidates for further selection.

Candidates will appear for an All India based Online Selection Test, and TA/DA will not be paid for appearing in the test. The admit card, indicating the roll number, name of the allocated test centre and guidelines for the test, must be downloaded from the same website and will not be sent by post.

Place of Posting

Selected candidates can be posted across India in any of the projects or stations of NSPCL, including its subsidiaries and joint venture companies. All posts are transferable at the sole discretion of the Management.

The online registration window is open from September 7, 2026, and will close on September 22, 2026.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates need to apply online through the following:

Candidates will be required to upload their photograph and signature during the online application. After successful registration, the system will generate a Unique Registration Number, and candidates should keep a printout of the application.

A candidate can apply for one post only, and in case a candidate has applied for more than one post or has applied multiple times, the last application will be considered. No manual or paper application will be entertained. The e-mail ID entered in the online application form must remain valid for at least the next one year.
