The institution offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in law and combines theoretical learning with practical application through curricular and extracurricular activities.

The NMIMS Law Review Blog is a regular accompaniment to the annual NMIMS Student Law Review and the NMIMS Law Review. It seeks to facilitate discourse and create a body of scholarship on contemporary legal issues, while providing industry interface and insights relevant to professional and academic audiences.
The Blog encourages fast-paced and timely legal inquiry and argument, complementing the long-form analysis published in the NMIMS Law Review.

Through this call for papers, the NMIMS Law Review Blog is inviting original blog articles on contemporary legal topics on a rolling basis. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts addressing novel and original concepts relating to law.
Theme
There is no fixed theme. Submissions may address any contemporary legal issue across all domains of law, provided they fall within the Blog’s mandate.
Submission Categories
- Responses to articles published in the NMIMS Journal or previous blogs published on the NMIMS Law Review Blog
- Articles on contemporary legal developments
- Case comments on recent landmark developments
- Book reviews engaging with recent literary works
- Other pieces falling within the Blog’s mandate may also be considered
Eligibility
Students, academicians and practitioners may submit their work for consideration.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and address contemporary legal issues across all domains of law
- The word limit is 1,000 to 1,500 words, exclusive of endnotes
- Longer posts may be accepted and published in parts
- Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted
- Any plagiarism will lead to disqualification
- Submissions previously posted on other blogs may be considered, provided prior publication is disclosed at the time of submission
- Relevant references must be hyperlinked
- Authors are encouraged to include an initial paragraph succinctly summarising the contents of the post; submissions containing in-depth analysis are preferred
Formatting Guidelines
- Submissions must be prepared in .doc or .docx format, and the title of the document must be the title of the blog post
- Font: Times New Roman; title – 14, bold; subtitles – 12, bold; body – 12
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Endnotes: font size 10 and single line spacing; footnotes should not be used
- Endnote references that cannot be hyperlinked should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th ed. 2015)
- Case laws should be italicised
Anonymization Requirements
- Manuscript files must be anonymised to preserve the blind review process
- Names and other identifying information must be removed from the manuscript
- Identifying phrases indicating that citations or notes refer to the author’s own work must be removed throughout the document
- Authors must provide their names and identifying information only in the body of the submission email, and not in the document
- The text of the submission must not contain any reference or indication of the authors’ identities or institutional affiliations
- Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements will not be accepted
Plagiarism and AI Reports
All manuscripts must be submitted along with a plagiarism report and an AI report, preferably generated through Turnitin. Alternate software may also be considered.
