About Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (RGNUL) is hosting the Surana & Surana India Rounds of the 31st Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition 2026–27.

The India Rounds are being organised for participating teams from India and Nepal and provide a national-level platform for students interested in international environmental law and related issues.

About the Opportunity

The 31st Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition provides law students with an opportunity to engage with contemporary questions concerning international environmental law, sustainability, and global environmental governance.

The competition is designed to develop participants’ legal research, written advocacy, oral advocacy, and critical analysis skills. The India Rounds will also provide participating teams an opportunity to interact with students from law schools and universities across India.

Mode

The competition will be conducted in physical mode.

Location

The India Rounds will be hosted by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab.

Dates

The India Rounds will be held from December 4 to December 6, 2026.

Registration Date

Registration for the competition commenced on September 9, 2026.

Registration Fee

The registration fee is Rs. 5,900, inclusive of Rs. 5,000 plus Rs. 900 GST at 18%.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The India Rounds are open to participating teams from India and Nepal.
  • Teams should participate in accordance with the rules of the competition.
