About Nalstreet

Nalstreet is the finance and trading cell of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. It publishes FinNomal, a quarterly finance and business magazine that is entering its fourth year.

FinNomal provides a platform for contributions from students across leading Indian institutions, including IIM Lucknow, IIT Kharagpur, SRCC, and St. Stephen’s College.

About the Opportunity

Nalstreet by NALSAR has invited submissions for the Q3 edition of FinNomal. The call for papers invites articles on topics relating to economics, finance, business, and trading, with a focus on global and India-specific issues, including macroeconomic and structural themes.

Selected articles will be published in the Q3 edition of FinNomal. Authors whose submissions are published will receive contribution certificates, while the top-performing author will receive a cash prize.

Eligibility Criteria

• The call is open to students and individuals from all disciplines.
• Applicants may belong to fields including Economics, Finance, Law, and Commerce.

Number of Positions

Selected articles will be published in the Q3 edition of FinNomal, hosted by NALSAR.

Deadline

The deadline for submission is October 10, 2026.

Perks

Authors whose articles are published will receive certificates of contribution by NALSAR.

The top-performing author will receive a cash prize.

Authors will receive full credit for their published work. Articles that are not selected for the Q3 edition may also be considered for future editions with the same rewards.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates may submit their articles through the designated submission portal in DOCX or PDF format.

The submission should comply with the following requirements:

• The recommended word limit is 1,350 words, with a 10% margin at the editor’s discretion.
• The author’s name and institute must be clearly mentioned.
• An author photograph in JPEG/JPG format must be uploaded for inclusion if the article is selected.
• A maximum of two infographics may be used per article, with proper credits.
• Citations must follow APA (7th edition), Bluebook (21st edition), or Chicago Manual of Style.
• Plagiarism must not exceed 10%.
• AI-generated content must not exceed 10%.
