About the Opportunity

Nyaya Shastra is inviting submissions for Volume 2, Issue 3 of VIDHIKA, its quarterly in-house law journal. The journal provides a platform for students, researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to engage with contemporary legal issues.

VIDHIKA accepts research articles, case comments, legislative analyses, book reviews, essays, and policy briefs. Its scope includes constitutional law, criminal law, civil and commercial law, human rights, environmental law, family law, labour law, property law, cyber law, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, data privacy, digital governance, and socio-legal research.

Publication Details

VIDHIKA is a quarterly law journal and an in-house publication of Nyaya Shastra. It carries ISSN 3108-0855.

Deadline

The deadline for submission is 20 September 2026.

Publication Fee

No fee is charged for publication.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Articles or research papers should be submitted in Word format.
  • The font size should be 12.
  • The prescribed line spacing is 1.15.
  • The prescribed font is Times New Roman.
  • The text should be justified.
  • The maximum word limit is 2,000 words.
  • A Turnitin Similarity Report must be attached along with the Word file.
  • The permitted plagiarism limit is 10%.
  • Authors should properly cite content used from other sources.
  • Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines may be rejected or not considered without intimation.

Review Process

Nyaya Shastra follows a peer-review policy for VIDHIKA. Submission does not guarantee publication. Selected articles are intended to be published in the next issue, tentatively scheduled for the third week of October 2026.
