MSME-Technology Development Centre (Process & Product Development Centre) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. The centre is located at Foundry Nagar, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
The PPDC Extension Centre, New Delhi, is organising an online one-month internship focused on research training.
About the Opportunity
The internship is designed to develop participants’ understanding of research methods, tools, academic writing, and publication. The programme will cover research methodology, scientific article reading, literature reviews, research software, citation management, research ethics, presentation skills, and careers in research.
Participants will also receive training in tools and platforms including Google Scholar, Mendeley, Zotero, ResearchGate, ORCID, and AI tools for research.
Duration
The internship will be conducted for one month, from September 14 to October 14, 2026.
Mode
The internship will be conducted online.
Working Hours
The sessions will be conducted from Monday to Friday, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Fees
The programme fee is ₹1,500.
Certification
Participants will be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the programme.

Roles & Responsibilities
Research Methodology
Participants will learn research methodology, problem statement formulation, scientific article reading, and techniques for developing research projects.
Academic Writing
The programme will cover thesis writing, technical writing, literature review articles, research article writing, proofreading, and publication.
Research Tools
Participants will receive training in research tools and software, including Mendeley, Zotero, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ORCID, and AI tools for research.
Publication and Citation
The programme will cover journal and publication selection, citation, increasing citations, open access, peer review, and resources for finding and accessing scientific papers.
Research Skills
Participants will learn presentation skills for researchers, research ethics, use of MS Word for research, and careers in research.
