About the Opportunity
Neev Foundation is inviting applications for two interns to support its work in litigation and legal aid. The internship will involve a combination of legal work, field engagement, community outreach, research, and preparation of accessible legal publications.
Number of Positions
The organisation is looking to engage two interns.
Duration
The internship will be conducted for 6–8 weeks and may be extended.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in offline mode.
Location
The internship will be based at Mayur Vihar Phase-I, Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year law programme.
- Final-year students will be preferred.
- Have strong skills in mobilisation, public outreach, legal documentation, and research.
- Be proficient in Hindi and English.
- Be willing to travel extensively for field-related work.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation & Legal Aid
- Assist the team with litigation and legal aid work.
- Support legal documentation and related assignments.
Fieldwork & Community Engagement
- Conduct fieldwork and participate in community engagement activities.
- Support mobilisation and public outreach initiatives.
Legal Research
- Conduct research relating to legal and policy issues.
- Assist with policy research and related assignments.
Legal Publications
- Help translate legal information into accessible publications for wider public understanding.
