Saveetha School of Law is organising the Policy Drafting Competition 2026 to encourage students to develop their policy drafting, analytical and creative skills.

The competition will provide participants with an opportunity to work on policy-related issues and demonstrate their ability to develop innovative and practical policy solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to students pursuing:

• Three-year LL.B. programmes
• Five-year integrated law programmes
• LL.M. programmes

Multiple teams may participate from the same institution.

Registration Fee

• ₹300 per team

Prizes

• Winning Team: Trophy and cash prize
• Runner-Up Team: Trophy
• Best Policy Innovation: Trophy
• Participation certificates for all participants

The maximum cash prize awarded during the competition will be up to ₹2,000.
