About the Opportunity
The internship is intended for individuals seeking firsthand exposure to the functioning of a Founder-led professional office. Selected interns will assist with research, analysis, documentation, project monitoring, stakeholder coordination and strategic initiatives.
The role involves working across legal, policy, business, social sector and institutional assignments, along with special projects directly assigned by the Founder Office.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 1–3 months.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in hybrid or remote mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have a good command of English along with strong analytical and research abilities.
- Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong drafting and documentation skills are required.
- Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, discretion, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Applicants should have an interest in law, governance, business, public policy, social innovation and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is expected.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include LL.B., B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B., LL.M., MBA, BBA, journalism, political science, social sciences, economics, commerce, public policy or related disciplines.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research and assist with analysis.
- Prepare briefing notes and research material.
- Support research relating to legal, policy and institutional matters.
Drafting
- Prepare reports, presentations, proposals, concept notes and strategic documents.
- Assist with professional communication and documentation.
- Maintain research material, records and confidential office documents.
Business Development
- Conduct market, competitor and industry research.
- Assist with business development and partnership initiatives.
- Develop ideas, programmes, campaigns and institutional initiatives.
Project Coordination
- Support coordination with clients, professionals, institutions, organisations and stakeholders.
- Monitor ongoing projects and maintain action trackers.
- Assist with meeting agendas, documentation and follow-up.
- Undertake special projects assigned directly by the Founder Office.
Digital & Institutional Initiatives
- Support social media and digital content initiatives.
- Assist with institutional research and coordination.
- Maintain relevant databases and professional records.
