Alten Global Technologies Private Limited is seeking law students to support its India Internal legal operations. The internship provides exposure to corporate legal work, particularly contracts, compliance, regulatory research and due diligence.
About the Opportunity
Alten Global Technologies Private Limited is offering a Legal Internship for law students interested in gaining practical experience in corporate and commercial legal operations.
Selected interns will assist with drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, contract compliance analysis, regulatory research, due diligence, compliance screening and contract management activities.
Duration
The internship will have a duration of 1 to 3 months, with a minimum commitment of 1 month.
Location
The internship will be based in Bengaluru.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be law students in the third year or above of a five-year undergraduate law programme.
- Candidates pursuing a three-year LLB programme must be in the third year or above.
- Students currently enrolled in a master’s programme in Business, Company or Corporate Law may also apply.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 65% or 7.5 SGPA in each semester.
- Candidates should have strong legal research, analytical and communication skills.
- Prior contract drafting experience is an advantage.
- Experience in networking and stakeholder interaction is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Drafting and Review
Interns will assist with drafting and reviewing Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Contract Compliance
Interns will analyse contract requirements and terms to assess compliance with applicable requirements.
Legal Research
Interns will conduct research relating to regulatory updates and support the internal legal team in keeping track of relevant developments.
Due Diligence and Compliance
Interns will support due diligence exercises and compliance screening activities.
Contract Management
Interns will assist in maintaining the contract repository and relevant contract trackers.
Compliance Coordination
Interns will coordinate the collection of compliance-related data and support internal compliance processes.
Skill Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate strong legal acumen along with legal research and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and time-management skills are required. Networking and stakeholder interaction experience is preferred, while prior con tract drafting experience will be considered an advantage.
