About Nari Gursahani Law College
Nari Gursahani Law College (NGLC), established in 2004, is a law institution under the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board (HSNC Board). The college is named after Dada Nari Gursahani, a noted Supreme Court advocate, philanthropist, and social reformer whose legacy continues to shape the institution’s commitment to legal education and public service.
NGLC is accredited by NAAC, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, approved by the Bar Council of India, and recognised by the Government of Maharashtra. It offers both the Five-Year B.A. LL.B. and Three-Year LL.B. programmes.
About the Opportunity
Nari Gursahani Law College is organising the 17th N.G. Fest – Vidhi Manthan 2026 National-Level Moot Court Competition. The competition provides law students with an opportunity to strengthen their skills in legal research, memorial drafting, oral advocacy, legal reasoning, and courtroom presentation through a simulated judicial proceeding.
The competition is open to eligible law students from recognised law colleges and universities across India.
Date
The competition will be held on 26 September 2026.
Location
The moot court competition will be conducted at Nari Gursahani Law College, Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra.
Deadline
The registration deadline is 28 August 2026.
Memorials must be submitted by 10 September 2026 at 11:59 PM IST.
Theme
The theme of the competition is “Constitutionalism in the Algorithmic Age: Digital Surveillance, National Security and Fundamental Rights.”
Remuneration
The registration fee is ₹1,200 per team. The fee is non-refundable.
Eligibility Criteria
- Participation is open to bona fide, full-time students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programme during the academic year 2025–26.
- Students must be enrolled in a recognised law college or university in India.
- Each institution may nominate only one team.
- Each team must consist of two speakers and one researcher.
- The registration form must be signed and sealed by the Principal or Head of Department.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Research constitutional and digital rights issues based on the moot proposition.
- Develop legal arguments for both sides of the dispute.
Drafting
- Prepare Petitioner/Appellant and Respondent memorials in PDF format.
- Submit memorials within the prescribed deadline.
Oral Advocacy
- Present arguments before the bench during the oral rounds.
- Participate as speakers or researcher in accordance with the competition rules.

Application Procedure
Interested candidates may apply through the following:
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,200 per team.
- Upload the payment receipt and the duly signed and sealed registration form.
- Email the Petitioner/Appellant and Respondent memorials in PDF format to samyak@nglawhsnc.edu.in by 10 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST.
- Bring four hard copies each of both memorials on the day of the competition.
- Deadline: 28 August 2026.
