About University Five Year Law College

University Five Year Law College is a constituent college of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Established in 2008, the college is approved by the Bar Council of India and focuses on legal education, academic development and practical exposure.

The institution conducts moot court competitions, seminars and workshops to provide students with opportunities to develop legal research, advocacy and courtroom skills.

About the Opportunity

The University Five Year Law College is inviting teams to participate in the 14th UFYLC-Ranka National Moot Court Competition 2026.

The competition will provide participating law students with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate their advocacy, legal research, memorial drafting and oral argument skills in a competitive setting.

The competition will be conducted from October 3 to October 5, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students pursuing an integrated 5-year or 3-year law programme from a college or university recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible.
  • Participants must be duly enrolled as law students in their respective institutions.

Mode

The competition will be conducted in offline mode.

Location

The competition will be held at University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Registration Fee

Each participating team is required to pay a registration fee of β‚Ή7,000.

The registration fee must be paid by August 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM IST.

  • The Best Student Advocate (Appellant) will receive a trophy and β‚Ή5,100.
  • The Best Student Advocate (Respondent) will receive a trophy and β‚Ή5,100.
  • The Best Student Researcher will receive a trophy and β‚Ή5,100.
  • All participating teams will receive participation certificates.

  • The brochure was released on July 16, 2026.
  • The last date for registration is August 31, 2026.
  • Clarifications may be sought from September 1 to September 10, 2026.
  • Clarifications will be released on September 15, 2026.
  • The last date for submission of the memorial in soft copy is September 20, 2026.
  • The last date for submission of the memorial in hard copy is September 24, 2026.
  • The inauguration ceremony will be held on October 3, 2026.
  • The oral rounds will be conducted from October 3 to October 4, 2026.
  • The valedictory ceremony will be held on October 5, 2026.
