The internship provides an opportunity to observe the working of one of the country’s highest constitutional courts while assisting the Chambers in research-oriented assignments.
The programme is intended to help interns understand the practical application of constitutional principles, statutory interpretation, and judicial decision-making. Through close interaction with the work undertaken by the Chambers, interns gain valuable insight into legal research, case analysis, and court processes. The internship is particularly suited for students interested in constitutional law, public law, appellate litigation, and judicial functioning.
About the Opportunity
The Chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice P.S. Narasimha has invited applications for one-month judicial internships to be conducted during September, October, November, and December 2026. Eligible applicants may apply for any one of the available months through the prescribed Google Form.
The internship provides selected candidates with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the judicial process and understand the day-to-day functioning of the Supreme Court of India. Interns may observe court proceedings, undertake legal research, and assist the Chambers with research-based assignments as required during the internship period.
Since the programme is conducted in person, interns are expected to remain available in New Delhi throughout the internship. The Chambers have clarified that applications submitted through any mode other than the official Google Form will not be considered. Candidates are therefore advised to carefully follow the prescribed application procedure and submit their applications within the stipulated timeline.
Duration
The internship will be for one month.
Start Date
Internship opportunities are available during September, October, November, and December 2026. Applicants may indicate their preferred month while submitting the application.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in offline mode. Selected interns will be required to remain physically present in New Delhi for the entire duration of the internship.

Eligibility Criteria
- Third, fourth, or fifth-year students of a five-year integrated LL.B. programme.
- Second or third-year students of a three-year LL.B. programme.
- LL.M. students.
Perks
Selected interns will receive an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of the Supreme Court of India and judicial chambers. The programme enables participants to understand judicial research, appellate court proceedings, and the practical aspects of legal reasoning in a constitutional court environment.

Application Procedure
Interested candidates may apply through the following:
Applications submitted through any mode other than the prescribed Google Form will not be considered.
Candidates must submit their applications by the 10th day of the month preceding the intended internship month. For instance, applicants seeking to intern during October 2026 must submit their application on or before 10 September 2026.
After the application deadline, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a brief telephonic interview. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email by the 20th day of the month preceding the internship month. Selected interns must ensure their availability in New Delhi for the entire duration of the programme.
