About the Opportunity
The Leaflet is inviting applications for two positions – Associate Editor and Staff Writer & Researcher – at its New Delhi office. The roles are suited for candidates with an interest in legal journalism, legal research, and court reporting.
Selected candidates will contribute to editorial and research work, legal reporting, and the preparation and editing of legal content while working with the editorial team.

Eligibility Criteria
- Familiarity with court procedures, various disciplines of law, and legal research is desirable.
- Prior journalism experience, including legal reporting, is desirable.
- An undergraduate degree in law is desirable.
- Candidates with degrees in journalism or related disciplines may also apply.
- Candidates from marginalised communities, including Dalit, Bahujan, Adivasi, De-notified Tribes, and minority communities, as well as women, gender minorities, and persons with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities
Editorial
- Contribute to editorial work for legal and public policy content.
- Edit and review legal articles and stories.
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research to support editorial and reporting assignments.
- Analyse legal developments and court proceedings.
Legal Reporting
- Assist in preparing legal news stories and research-based articles.
- Contribute to reporting on courts and legal developments.
