About Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRC)
Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRC) is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The corporation is responsible for operating the Noida–Greater Noida Metro Corridor and managing metro rail services in the region.
NMRC has invited applications from experienced Indian nationals for engagement as Young Professional (Legal) on a direct contract basis to meet its immediate legal requirements.
About the Opportunity
Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited is inviting applications for the post of Young Professional (Legal). The engagement is purely contractual and intended for experienced legal professionals with relevant post-qualification experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling legal matters, preparing legal documentation, drafting contracts, ensuring statutory compliance under various laws, and assisting the organisation in legal and regulatory matters.
Number of Positions
There is one vacancy for the post of Young Professional (Legal) under the Unreserved (UR) category.
Duration
The engagement will initially be for a period of one year. It may be extended by one year at a time based on organisational requirements and performance. However, the total contractual tenure shall not exceed three years.
Location
The selected candidate will be posted at NMRC Headquarters, Noida. However, NMRC reserves the right to post the candidate at any of its offices, branches, places of business, or consultancy offices across India.
Working Hours
The official working hours shall be from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹50,000 per month. A provision of 5% annual increment on the consolidated pay is available. EPF, gratuity, and applicable statutory deductions shall be governed by the relevant provisions of law.

Perks
The selected candidate will be entitled to the following benefits in accordance with NMRC’s terms and conditions:
- Casual leave of 1.5 days per month along with two restricted holidays.
- Medical insurance coverage of ₹3 lakh, subject to the prescribed conditions.
- Group accidental and natural death insurance coverage of ₹10 lakh each.
- Tour reimbursement for official travel related to court cases or other official work, as per applicable rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Indian nationals.
- Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised university or institute, either:
- A three-year regular LL.B. programme; or
- A five-year integrated LL.B. programme.
- Applicants must have at least four years of post-qualification experience in handling legal cases, legal documentation, contract drafting, statutory compliance under various Acts, RTI matters, and related legal work.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the Government sector.
- Self-practice as an advocate will not be counted towards the required post-qualification experience. Only experience with Government departments, Government sector bodies, law firms, professional firms, LLPs, or reputed private sector companies will be considered.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.

Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Research legal issues relating to statutory compliance and applicable laws.
- Examine legal provisions relevant to organisational matters.
Drafting
- Draft and review contracts, legal documents, and other legal instruments.
- Prepare documentation required for legal proceedings and official matters.
Litigation Support
- Handle legal cases and coordinate matters relating to litigation.
- Assist in legal proceedings and court-related work.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under various Acts.
- Handle matters relating to the Right to Information (RTI) and other regulatory obligations.

Application Procedure

- Download and fill the prescribed application form (Annexure-A) from the NMRC recruitment notification.
- Send the duly filled application form along with self-attested supporting documents by registered post, speed post, or courier to the address mentioned above.
- The envelope should be superscribed:
“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF YOUNG PROFESSIONAL (LEGAL) ON DIRECT CONTRACT BASIS IN NMRC AGAINST ADVT. NO. NMRC/HR/RECTT/04/2026.”
The application should be accompanied by:
- Educational certificates from Class X onwards.
- Appointment letters, promotion orders, and increment letters, wherever applicable.
- Experience certificates for all employments, including present employment.
- Pay slips for the last three months.
- NOC along with D&AR and Vigilance Clearance (mandatory for permanent Government employees).
- Copy of Aadhaar Card.
- Any other relevant supporting documents.
