Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation (HHHF) is a Section 8, not-for-profit grassroots organisation working to empower marginalized communities across India through legal aid, education, social awareness, and poverty alleviation initiatives. The organisation conducts pro bono legal clinics, rights-awareness campaigns, digital literacy programmes, community outreach, and youth leadership initiatives to promote social justice and community development.
About the Opportunity
Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation (HHHF) is inviting applications for a 30-day online internship. The programme provides an opportunity for students to contribute to legal awareness, public policy, and community outreach while working on projects related to human rights and social justice.
Duration
The internship will be conducted from 1 August 2026 to 30 August 2026.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in online (Work From Home) mode.
Workload
Interns will be expected to devote approximately 10–12 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be current undergraduate or postgraduate students.
- Have an interest in human rights, social justice, public policy, or legal aid.
Roles & Responsibilities
Policy Research
- Draft policy briefs on legal issues affecting marginalized communities.
Awareness Campaigns
- Plan and execute virtual awareness campaigns.
Community Outreach
- Organise 2–3 outreach visits in their neighbourhood or another convenient location to spread awareness of fundamental rights.
General Assignments
- Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the organisation during the internship.
