About LSE Law Review
The LSE Law Review is a student-run law journal of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The journal provides a platform for high-quality legal scholarship and publishes contributions across a wide range of legal disciplines. It is managed independently by students of the LSE Law School and follows a peer-review process for all publication categories.
About the Call for Submissions
The LSE Law Review is inviting submissions for its upcoming issue. Authors may submit research articles, case notes, and letters to the editor on topics relating to UK, EU, international, and comparative foreign law. All submissions undergo a peer-review process and must comply with the journal’s author guidelines.
Categories of Submission
- Research Articles: 4,000–20,000 words
- Case Notes: 1,000–4,000 words
- Letters to the Editor: Up to 2,000 words
Deadline
The submission deadline for the next issue is 20 September 2026. To facilitate the review process and improve the likelihood of publication in the Summer Issue, authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts by 18 August 2026.
Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or submitted elsewhere.
- Submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission portal.
- Manuscripts should be submitted as Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) files only.
- PDF submissions will not be accepted.
- All citations and references must follow the OSCOLA citation style.
- Research Articles, Case Notes, and Letters to the Editor must include an abstract of up to 250 words.
- Up to six keywords may be included.
- Authors should comply with the journal’s Artificial Intelligence policy.
- Submitted manuscripts must be anonymised to facilitate blind peer review.

- Citation Style: OSCOLA
Review Process
