The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is the central government ministry responsible for regulating corporate entities, promoting good corporate governance, and administering various corporate laws in India. The Ministry oversees the implementation of key legislation relating to companies, limited liability partnerships, insolvency, and corporate compliance.
Through its regional directorates and field offices, MCA plays a vital role in corporate regulation, enforcement, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder facilitation across the country.
About the Young Professionals Engagement
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is inviting applications for engagement as Young Professionals (YPs) in the Office of the Director General of Corporate Affairs, Regional Directorate (Northern Region-1), and field offices operating under the Regional Directorate.
The programme provides an opportunity for young professionals to contribute to corporate administration, regulatory processes, governance initiatives, and policy implementation while gaining exposure to the functioning of a key Government of India ministry.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from candidates possessing any of the following qualifications from recognized institutions:
- Chartered Accountants (CA)
- Company Secretaries (CS)
- Cost Accountants
- Law Graduates
- M.Com. Graduates

Roles & Responsibilities
Young Professionals may be engaged in areas relating to:
Corporate Regulation & Compliance
- Support activities concerning corporate governance and compliance.
- Assist in regulatory and administrative functions.
Research & Policy Support
- Contribute to research, analysis, and documentation assignments.
- Assist in policy implementation and stakeholder-related initiatives.
Corporate Affairs Administration
- Support functions handled by the Directorate General of Corporate Affairs and Regional Directorate offices.
- Assist in matters relating to corporate regulation and governance.
Documentation & Reporting
- Assist in preparation of reports, records, and regulatory documentation.
- Support data analysis and administrative processes.
