About the Lexansh Assessment Internship

The Lexansh Assessment Internship is a structured six-month programme aimed at providing comprehensive exposure to litigation, corporate advisory, and intellectual property practice. Interns will work closely with legal professionals on research, drafting, due diligence, compliance, and transaction-related assignments.

The internship is designed to assess candidates for future professional opportunities while equipping them with practical legal skills and real-world experience.

Duration

The internship will be for a period of six months.

Location

The internship is based in Noida.

Stipend

Stipend will be provided as per market standards.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Final-year LL.B. students are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with a keen interest in Litigation, Corporate Law, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) will be preferred.
  • Applicants should possess strong legal research and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills are required.
  • Basic understanding of litigation procedures, corporate laws, and intellectual property laws is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

Litigation Support

  • Assist in litigation matters and case preparation.
  • Draft pleadings, petitions, applications, replies, rejoinders, and written submissions.
  • Support advocates in court-related legal work and documentation.

Corporate Law Advisory

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts, board resolutions, and corporate policies.
  • Support corporate transactions and compliance-related assignments.
  • Assist in document review and corporate due diligence exercises.

Intellectual Property Rights

  • Conduct trademark, copyright, and patent-related research.
  • Assist with intellectual property filings and documentation.
  • Support portfolio management and intellectual property compliance activities.

Legal Research & Analysis

  • Conduct legal research and case law analysis across litigation, corporate, and IPR matters.
  • Prepare legal notes, summaries, opinions, and analytical reports.

Regulatory Compliance & Transaction Support

  • Assist in compliance reviews and regulatory assignments.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external counsels.
  • Support transaction management and legal documentation processes.

Skills Required

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases will be an advantage.
