New Boutique Law Firm Launched by Former Deloitte Professionals
Former Deloitte tax practitioners Abhishek Ranjan, Akash Mittal, and Sadhvi Gupta have launched Fair and Square Legal (F&S Legal), a boutique law firm specializing in tax, regulatory, corporate, and commercial law matters. The firm has established its headquarters in Noida while also operating from offices in Delhi and Mumbai.
The launch marks a new chapter for the three professionals, who previously worked together at Deloitte and, before that, at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS), one of India’s leading tax law firms.

Founders Bring Significant Industry Experience
Before launching F&S Legal, Abhishek Ranjan served as a Director at Deloitte, while Akash Mittal and Sadhvi Gupta worked as Associate Directors. During their tenure, they advised multinational corporations, domestic businesses, and industry leaders on complex tax disputes, regulatory issues, and cross-border transactions.
The founders have collectively represented clients before tax authorities, appellate forums, tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court of India. They have also advised businesses on tax-efficient structures and regulatory compliance strategies.
Prior to joining Deloitte approximately three years ago, all three professionals were part of Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, where Ranjan served as an Associate Partner while Mittal and Gupta worked as Principal Associates.

Abhishek Ranjan, an alumnus of Gujarat National Law University, has nearly fifteen years of experience and is particularly known for advising clients in sectors such as alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and manufacturing.
Akash Mittal has worked extensively with clients in mining, FMCG, and real estate, while Sadhvi Gupta has advised businesses operating in insurance, education, technology, and Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
