About the Internship
The internship programme at LawAS Legal is designed to provide law students with practical exposure to litigation-oriented legal work and dispute resolution practice. Selected interns will work closely with ongoing matters involving commercial litigation, arbitration, consumer disputes, RERA proceedings, DRT matters, NI Act cases, and related legal proceedings.
Interns will gain exposure to matters before District Courts, the Delhi High Court, the Supreme Court of India, various Commissions and Tribunals, RERA authorities, Arbitration forums, and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The internship also includes opportunities to assist with outstation matters depending upon the requirements of ongoing cases.
The role is intended to familiarise students with practical legal workflow including drafting, legal research, case preparation, procedural work, and courtroom exposure. Interns may assist in preparing pleadings, applications, legal opinions, case summaries, and research notes connected with active litigation and arbitration matters.
The internship provides an opportunity to understand the functioning of multiple judicial and quasi-judicial forums while developing practical advocacy-oriented skills within a professional litigation environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Law students, preferably those in their third year and above, are eligible to apply for this internship opportunity. Candidates interested in litigation, arbitration, and practical court exposure are encouraged to apply.
Practice Areas and Exposure
Selected interns may work on matters relating to RERA, Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, Consumer Disputes, DRT matters, NI Act proceedings, Arbitration matters, NCLT proceedings, and allied litigation work before various courts and tribunals.
