About Chaubey & Company

Chaubey & Company is a litigation-focused legal practice engaged in handling matters relating to dispute resolution, court procedures, and legal drafting before appropriate judicial forums. The chamber regularly undertakes work involving preparation of pleadings, filing procedures, case documentation, and legal research connected with ongoing litigation matters.

The office supports clients across different stages of proceedings and provides assistance in drafting notices, applications, and supporting legal documents required for effective case presentation. Through chamber-based assignments and supervised research tasks, interns gain familiarity with procedural requirements and documentation practices followed in active litigation environments.

The internship structure enables law students to observe how litigation files are prepared, reviewed, and progressed before courts, while also developing an understanding of professional drafting standards followed in chamber practice.

About the Internship

The internship at Chaubey & Company is designed to provide practical exposure to litigation practice, dispute resolution work, and drafting-related assignments. Selected interns will assist with legal research, preparation of pleadings and applications, and compilation of supporting materials relevant to ongoing matters handled by the chamber.

Interns may also observe court procedures and filing requirements, analyse case laws connected with assigned research areas, and assist with documentation review related to active disputes. Exposure to such assignments helps participants understand procedural workflows involved in litigation support work.

Participants may additionally be involved in preparation of research summaries and drafting assistance relating to notices and applications, subject to the requirements of the chamber. The internship is intended to familiarise students with structured litigation support responsibilities and expectations within professional chamber environments.

Eligibility Criteria

Law students currently in the fourth or fifth year of a five-year integrated law degree programme are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates who have prior internship experience in litigation offices or law firms. Applicants are expected to possess strong research, drafting, and communication skills along with demonstrated interest in litigation practice.

Mode

This is an in-office internship at the chamber.

Location

The internship will be conducted at the chamber office.

Duration

The duration of the internship is one month.
