Singapore International Arbitration Centre invites applications from current students for its in-person internship programme 2026.
About the Organisation
The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) is a leading global arbitral institution administering international commercial arbitration cases under its widely recognised SIAC Rules. Known for its efficiency, neutrality, and strong institutional framework, SIAC handles disputes across sectors including infrastructure, energy, trade, finance, and technology.
The institution provides exposure to complex cross-border disputes and works with arbitration practitioners and legal professionals from multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
About the Internship
The SIAC In-Person Internship Programme provides students with first-hand exposure to the functioning of an international arbitral institution. Interns work closely with arbitration lawyers and assist in the administration of arbitration proceedings under the SIAC Rules.
The programme is open to both local and international applicants, and candidates with prior exposure or interest in international arbitration will be preferred.
Internship Duration and Intake Periods
The internship runs for a fixed duration of three months under the following trimesters:
- First Intake: July to September 2026
- Second Intake: August to October 2026
- Third Intake: September to November 2026
Stipend
Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of SGD 1,100.
Interns are required to bear:
- Travel expenses
- Accommodation costs
- Living expenses
Visa assistance will be provided where required.
Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants with interest or background in international arbitration (preferred)
