About the Internship
Verum Legal is inviting applications for a Legal Internship at its Hyderabad office. The internship is designed to provide structured exposure to corporate transactions, compliance advisory work, contract drafting, and litigation-related research assignments in a professional legal environment.
Selected interns will work on live matters handled by the firm and gain experience across corporate documentation, regulatory research, and dispute-related support work. The internship offers practical learning opportunities for students interested in corporate legal practice and related regulatory frameworks.
Mode of Internship
The internship will be conducted in offline mode at the Hyderabad office of the organisation.
Candidates applying for the internship must be available for in-person participation throughout the internship period.
Duration
The duration of the internship is three months.
The internship is expected to commence immediately.
Stipend
Stipend is applicable as per organisational policy.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from:
- Penultimate-year law students
- Final-year law students
Applicants should demonstrate strong interest in corporate law and ability to handle structured legal assignments involving research, drafting, and compliance support work.
Candidates based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate to Hyderabad during the internship period may be preferred.
Nature of Work
Selected interns may assist the legal team with assignments involving corporate transactions and structuring support work. Exposure may include drafting and review of commercial contracts, term sheets, and board resolutions connected with corporate matters.
Interns may also participate in legal due diligence exercises and compliance advisory assignments relating to regulatory requirements under applicable corporate laws. Additional exposure may include research support relating to legislation such as the Companies Act and regulatory frameworks administered by SEBI.
Assignments may further include research and drafting support connected with litigation matters before District Courts and High Courts. Interns may also assist with startup advisory assignments and documentation support relating to intellectual property matters handled by the organisation.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting with client requests, registration-related documentation, preparation of legal opinions, participation in client meetings where required, and maintenance of internal research trackers and matter files.
