About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will assist in business development and partnership-building activities, including:
Business development and opportunity identification:
- Identifying new opportunities in monitoring and evaluation, research studies, CSR initiatives, and consulting assignments
- Tracking tenders, EOIs, and procurement opportunities across platforms such as government portals and development networks
- Mapping potential institutional partners including government agencies, NGOs, multilateral organisations, and academic bodies
Client engagement and relationship management:
- Building relationships with existing and prospective stakeholders
- Supporting meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications with clients
- Representing the organisation in networking events and consultations
Proposal development and bidding support:
- Coordinating preparation of technical and financial proposals
- Developing concept notes and expressions of interest
- Ensuring timely submission of bids, including government procurement submissions
Strategic communication and positioning:
- Preparing capability statements and pitch decks
- Supporting outreach initiatives for partnerships and collaborations
- Maintaining institutional documentation and project credentials
Pipeline and process management:
- Maintaining structured databases of leads and proposals
- Tracking proposal outcomes and coordinating follow-ups
- Supporting internal coordination for proposal execution workflows
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related disciplines
- Two to five years of relevant experience in partnerships, consulting, research organisations, or business development roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare structured proposals and institutional reports
- Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Working knowledge of tools such as SPSS, Power BI, or Tableau (preferred)
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across sectors
- Willingness to travel for meetings, consultations, and field coordination when required
