About the Role
Ikaai India Research Pvt. Ltd. is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate. The role involves working on monitoring and evaluation assignments, proposal development, and data analysis tasks connected with research projects implemented across India.
Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to proposal writing, stakeholder coordination, field project implementation, and analytical reporting. The position also includes interaction with clients and participation in presentations connected with research deliverables.

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will assist with research, client engagement, and project implementation activities, including:
- Identifying and tracking relevant research and evaluation opportunities through procurement and proposal platforms
- Preparing technical proposals and supporting client presentations
- Designing questionnaires, inception reports, and survey tools for data collection
- Coordinating with clients through meetings, calls, and pre-bid discussions
- Leading and managing research projects and field teams
- Preparing resource plans covering financial, human, and operational requirements
- Monitoring recruitment, training, and supervision of data collection teams
- Conducting field visits and ensuring quality control across survey stages
- Training enumerators and data collectors where required
- Collating and analysing datasets using SPSS, STATA, Excel, or similar software
- Preparing analytical reports and presenting research findings to stakeholders

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Economics, Rural Management, Social Sciences, or related disciplines
- Understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Familiarity with research design and survey-based data collection methods
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Capability to work in deadline-driven environments
- Experience with statistical tools such as SPSS, STATA, Power BI, or Excel
Candidates with relevant experience of one to three years are preferred, although fresh graduates may also be considered.
Salary and Experience
- Salary range: 2.5 to 4 lakh per annum
- Experience required: 1 to 3 years (freshers may apply)
- Probation period: 6 months
