The 1st RTI Drafting Competition by Panjab University, titled “शासन को सवाल”, is designed to encourage students to use the Right to Information Act as a tool for transparency and accountability in governance.
Participants will be provided with a detailed factual matrix inspired by real-world governance issues, including electoral politics, bureaucratic pressure, and alleged institutional failures.
Based on this scenario, participants will draft RTI applications that strategically seek relevant information from public authorities to ensure transparency and accountability.
