Eligibility & Requirements
The MWCD Internship Programme 2026 is open to:
- Women students
- Scholars
- Social activists
- Teachers
Applicants must:
- Be associated with any university, academic institution, or non-academic organization
- Be aged between 21 and 40 years
- Belong to non–Tier I cities or rural areas of India
Tier-I Cities (Not Eligible)
Candidates belonging to the following Tier-I cities are not eligible:
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
The programme selects up to 20 interns per batch, and selection is carried out by a committee constituted by the Ministry.
