About the Organizers
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Law University (DBRANLU), Sonepat, established in 2012, is the 23rd National Law University in India. Known for its student-centric “Lighthouse” approach, the university is committed to high-level academic analysis and the development of practical advocacy skills.+1
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is India’s apex statutory body for the protection of human rights. Founded under the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993, and functioning in line with the Paris Principles, the NHRC’s partnership with DBRANLU underscores the competition’s focus on research-focused scholarship and fundamental constitutional values.+1

This edition centers on Human Rights and Technology, challenging participants to navigate the legal and ethical dilemmas of the digital age. From algorithmic bias to data privacy as a human right, the moot proposition demands rigorous analytical rigor and innovative legal reasoning.
Event Format and Mode
The competition will be held in Offline Mode at the DBRANLU campus in Sonepat, providing participants with a realistic courtroom environment and the opportunity for high-value networking with legal luminaries.

Eligibility and Team Composition
- Eligibility: Open to students currently enrolled in 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programs at any recognized institution in India.
- Institutional Cap: A maximum of two teams per institution is allowed.
- Team Structure: Each team must consist of 3 members (2 Speakers and 1 Researcher).
