Nature of Work: Legal Journalism
This is a specialized Legal Journalism Internship. Unlike traditional internships, the focus here is on legal communication. You will be tasked with tracking contemporary developments and translating them into engaging content for a wider audience.
Focus Areas for February 2026:
- International Relations: Analyzing global treaties, diplomatic legalities, and geopolitical shifts.
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Coverage of copyright, patents, and trademark trends.
- Law & Technology: Navigating the legalities of AI, data privacy, and digital regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Interns will be expected to master the “multi-media” approach to legal journalism:
- Content Creation: Writing concise legal posts on trending issues.
- Research: Conducting deep-dives to ensure every post is legally sound and accurate.
- Graphic Design: Using Canva to create visual slides for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Video Content: Generating short-form legal videos (reels/shorts) to explain complex laws.

Eligibility & Skills Required
- Educational Background: Open to students of 5-year LL.B., 3-year LL.B., or LL.M. (any year).
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Canva, Google Docs, and Word.
- Soft Skills: Strong editorial judgment, fluency in English, and the ability to simplify legal concepts.
