About the Position
The Legal Consultant (Fresher) role is designed to provide early-career law graduates with hands-on exposure to legal research, drafting, client interaction, and dispute resolution processes. The role involves working closely with senior team members on live matters involving financial institutions and individual clients.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist the legal team in the following areas:
- Conducting legal research on loan settlement mechanisms, RBI guidelines, and consumer protection laws
- Assisting in drafting legal notices, settlement agreements, and client communications
- Supporting dispute resolution and negotiation processes with financial institutions
- Preparing case summaries and maintaining legal records and documentation
- Tracking legal developments relating to debt recovery, financial regulations, and consumer law
- Assisting in client interactions under supervision to understand legal issues and requirements
- Supporting internal coordination, documentation, and team meetings
- Assisting in business development activities, including preliminary client onboarding
Eligibility Criteria
- Recent law graduates (LL.B.)
