A prestigious opportunity for students of law, economics, management, finance, and regulatory governance to gain hands-on exposure through the paid internship programme at the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
About the Competition Commission of India (CCI)
The Competition Commission of India is a statutory body established under the Competition Act, 2002, with the objective of promoting competition, preventing anti-competitive practices, protecting consumer interests, and ensuring freedom of trade in markets across India.
The internship programme at CCI is designed to familiarise students with the practical application of competition law and economic principles, regulatory processes, and enforcement mechanisms. This programme is purely academic and research-oriented in nature and does not constitute employment or a job assurance with the Commission.
About the Internship / Opportunity
The CCI Internship Programme provides selected interns with an opportunity to work closely with officers of the Commission across various divisions. Interns are allocated research and analytical work related to competition law, market studies, economic analysis, and regulatory governance.
The programme includes an induction session on the Competition Act, 2002, followed by supervised work assignments. At the end of the internship, interns are required to make a presentation on the work completed, which is mandatory for the release of the certificate and honorarium.
