About the Opportunity
The Moot Court Committee of the School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, UPSIFS, is organising the 1st UPSIFS National Moot Court Competition 2026.
The competition will provide law students with an opportunity to develop legal research, memorial drafting and oral advocacy skills. It will be conducted in two phases, consisting of online preliminary rounds followed by offline rounds at the UPSIFS campus in Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students enrolled in a three-year LL.B. programme may participate.
- Students enrolled in a five-year integrated law programme may participate.
- Multiple teams from the same institution are permitted, subject to submission of the prescribed No Objection Certificate.
- Students enrolled exclusively in postgraduate or diploma programmes are not eligible.
- Each team must consist of two or three members.
- A three-member team must have two speakers and one researcher.
- A two-member team must have two speakers, with one speaker also acting as the researcher.
Registration Fee
- Registration Fee: ₹3,000 per team
- The fee covers participation in the online preliminary rounds.
- Payment must be made through bank transfer after completing the registration form.
- The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- After verification of registration and payment, the primary contact person will receive a confirmation email containing the team code.
