About Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur

Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur (DNLU) was established in 2018 under the Madhya Pradesh National University Act, 24 of 2018. The university focuses on value-based legal education, advocacy skills, professional ethics, research, and specialised training for law students, research scholars, and officers.

The Centre for Corporate Laws and Governance (CCLG) functions as a multidisciplinary forum for research, analysis, and discussion on developments in corporate law and governance in India and around the world.

About the Opportunity

The 2nd Corporate Law Summit 2026 will bring together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students to present research and discuss developments in corporate and insolvency law. The conference will feature paper presentations and panel discussions covering areas including the IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026, CIRP, PIRP, and CIIRP.

The paper presentation segment is open to law students, invited authors, academicians, practising lawyers, and subject-matter experts. Participants are invited to submit original research addressing legal, practical, doctrinal, and policy issues in the identified areas.

Mode

The summit will be conducted in virtual mode.

Registration Fee

The registration fee is Rs. 1,500 for UG/PG students and Rs. 2,000 for academicians, legal professionals, professional academicians, and others. Payment details will be sent by email to authors whose abstracts are selected.

Important Dates

The last date for abstract submission is September 20, 2026. Intimation of abstract selection is scheduled for September 25, 2026, followed by the full paper submission deadline on September 30, 2026. The last date for registration is September 30, 2026, and the conference will be held on November 21-22, 2026.

Roles & Responsibilities

Research and Paper Presentation

Participants are required to submit original research addressing the themes of the summit. Papers will be evaluated on originality and innovation, depth of research and analysis, clarity and structure, argumentative strength, and adherence to formatting and citation standards.

Submission Requirements

The abstract must contain 300-400 words and include five keywords. The full paper must be between 4,000 and 6,000 words, including citations. Submissions must be provided in both MS Word and PDF formats through the designated Google Form.

The formatting requirements include Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, and appropriately numbered headings and sub-headings. The prescribed referencing style is The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (2015, 20th ed.).

The paper must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism exceeding 10% will result in disqualification, and the guidelines state that the use of AI is strictly prohibited. Up to one co-author is permitted, including cross-authorship between participants from different institutions.
