About the Opportunity

The Moot Court Society of Amity Law School, Noida is organising the 16th Paperless Amity International Moot Court Competition, 2026 (AIM 2026).

The competition will be conducted from October 8 to October 10, 2026, in an offline setting at the Amity Law School, Noida campus. The competition will provide participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their legal research, analytical reasoning, and advocacy skills.

AIM 2026 will be conducted entirely in a paperless format.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bona fide students currently enrolled in recognised Law Schools, Universities, and Institutions in India or abroad may participate.
  • The institution must offer a minimum three-year LL.B. course.
  • Only one team may participate from each Institution or College through a valid authorisation.
  • Each team must consist of three members.
  • Each team must have two Speakers and one Researcher.
  • No observer or faculty member is permitted as part of the team.

Theme

The theme of AIM 2026 is:

β€œRegulating Artificial Intelligence in International Law – Drones, UAVs and Machines and the Case Concerning State Sponsored Warfare.”

The competition will require participants to engage with complex issues of international law and demonstrate research depth, analytical reasoning, and persuasive advocacy.

Registration Fee

The registration fee with accommodation is β‚Ή8,500 per team.

The registration fee without accommodation is β‚Ή7,000 per team.

The registration fee is inclusive of 18% GST.

Prizes and Special Perks

The competition will offer cash prizes and trophies for the Winning Team, Runner-Up, Best Memorial, and Best Speaker.

The Winning Team will receive three one-year free subscriptions to SCC Online Web Edition worth a total of β‚Ή1,00,500.

All participants will receive a one-month free subscription to SCC Online Web Edition worth β‚Ή3,100 each.

Important Dates

The brochure along with the Moot Proposition was released on August 17, 2026.

The last date for registration is September 25, 2026.

The last date for Memorial Submission is October 2, 2026.

The competition will be held from October 8 to October 10, 2026.

Registration Process

Interested teams must complete the registration process before September 25, 2026.

Each participating institution must ensure that its team is authorised to participate in the competition.
