About the Internship
The Wadhwa Law Chambers Legal Internship is designed for law students seeking hands-on experience in litigation, legal drafting, court work, and legal research. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to legal research, drafting, case preparation, and court-related assignments.
Interns will work closely on ongoing matters and gain valuable insight into the day-to-day functioning of a litigation chamber.
Duration
The internship is available for a duration of one to two months.
Mode
This is an in-office internship.
Location
The internship is based at Shankar Road, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi.
Stipend
No stipend will be provided.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students enrolled in a recognised law programme may apply.
- Candidates should possess strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Ability to prepare case briefs and legal summaries is desirable.
- Applicants should demonstrate professionalism, discipline, and sincerity towards work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
- Candidates should be capable of working in a rigorous litigation-oriented environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct research on legal issues relevant to ongoing matters.
- Analyse statutes, judicial precedents, and legal developments.
Drafting & Documentation
- Assist in drafting legal documents, applications, notices, and submissions.
- Support the preparation and organisation of legal records and case files.
Case Preparation
- Prepare case briefs and legal summaries.
- Assist advocates in organising materials for hearings and proceedings.
Court & Miscellaneous Legal Work
- Support court-related assignments and procedural tasks.
- Assist in miscellaneous legal and administrative work associated with litigation practice.
