Virtuosity Legal invites applications for its online 2026–27 Membership Programme. The three-month programme offers practical exposure in legal research, writing, editing, public relations, design, technical management, and related work under the guidance of the Editorial Board.
About Virtuosity Legal
Virtuosity Legal is a peer-reviewed academic blog independently run by students at the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University. The student-run initiative aims to create a repository of authentic, research-driven legal content and promote writing and legal discourse in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
About the Membership Programme
The 2026–27 Membership Programme is designed for applicants who want to contribute to a student legal blog while developing skills across content, editorial, outreach, design, research, and technical work. Members will work with the respective teams under the mentorship of the Editorial Board and contribute to the regular activities of Virtuosity Legal.
Teams and Work Profile
Media and Designs Team
Members will create Canva templates, curate content in line with Virtuosity Legal, design flyers for circulation, and manage social media segments.
PR and Outreach Team
The team will draft email responses, build connections and conduct outreach on LinkedIn, and prepare invitations for guest posts and interviews.
Research and Content Team
Members will prepare monthly Call for Blogs content, interview questionnaires, AI and grammar checks, and newer content strategies.
Student Editorial Team
Members will assist with preliminary editing, curate questions, and undertake interviews in coordination with the Research Team.
Technical Team
The Technical Team will provide technical assistance for the blog, manage website health, and assist in editing Monthly Issue drafts on MS Word.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students applying to the relevant teams should be enrolled in any year of a three-year or five-year LL.B. course at a recognised institution.
- The PR and Outreach Team is open to applicants from all academic backgrounds.
- The application form states that PR and Technical applicants may be students enrolled in any university across India.
- Applicants should have an interest in and willingness to contribute to the responsibilities of their preferred team.
- Relevant skills or experience in research, writing, editing, public relations, outreach, design, social media management, or technical work may support an application.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the respective team in carrying out its assigned functions and contribute to the regular activities of Virtuosity Legal.
- Work under the guidance and mentorship of the Editorial Board.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of legal content, depending on the assigned team.
- Assist with guest posts, interviews, outreach initiatives, editorial activities, and other blog-related projects.
- Collaborate with other teams to support the growth and functioning of Virtuosity Legal.
Mode and Tenure
Mode: Online
Tenure: Three months. A minimum membership duration of three months is required for the issuance of the certificate.
