About the Opportunity

Vayukti Legal is expanding its team and looking for dedicated, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join the firm as Legal Interns. The firm is also looking at Legal Associates, and candidates with experience in Agreement Drafting and IPR matters will be preferred for that role, while freshers with strong drafting and research skills may also apply.

Candidates interested in gaining practical exposure in Agreement Drafting, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Title Search, Property Due Diligence, Legal Research and Legal Documentation are encouraged to apply.

Duration

The internship duration is 3 months.

Location

The internship will be based at Vayukti Legal, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Preferred Experience & Skills

Agreement Drafting & Vetting: drafting, reviewing and vetting various legal agreements, contracts, MOUs, NDAs, service agreements and other commercial and legal documents.
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Design and Patent matters, including IPR research, filing-related work, objections, examination reports and enforcement matters.
Title Search & Property Due Diligence: preparation and analysis of Title Search Reports, Legal Scrutiny Reports and Property Due Diligence, including verification of land records, registered documents, ownership flow and encumbrances.
Legal Research: ability to conduct legal research and analyse applicable laws, judgments, notifications and case laws.
Legal Documentation: strong drafting and documentation skills with attention to legal terminology, accuracy and detail.
Civil, Corporate & Property Matters: basic understanding of civil litigation, corporate and commercial matters, property laws and related legal documentation.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
Strong analytical, drafting, research and communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

College and university law students pursuing a 5-Year Integrated LL.B., from the 3rd year onwards.
Students pursuing a 3-Year LL.B., in the final year or eligible senior-year stages.
