About the Administration of UT Ladakh
The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh is the governing authority responsible for public administration and development across the region. Through its departments, it works across sectors including agriculture, health, education, tourism, forests, culture, urban development, and rural governance.
The Youth Month 2026 Internship Programme is an official initiative of the Administration of UT Ladakh designed to provide students with structured departmental exposure and practical public sector experience.
About the Opportunity
The Administration of UT Ladakh has opened registrations for its Youth Month 2026 Internship Programme. The internship offers selected candidates an opportunity to work with one of 25 government departments through a single application process.
Interns will be placed in departments based on their preferences and will contribute to real departmental work, including field assignments, reporting, and public-facing tasks. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a government-issued, verifiable experience certificate.
Duration
The internship will be conducted for a period of 3 months.
Location
The internship will take place across departments of the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, covering seven districts.
Stipend
Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month.
Deadline
The last date to submit the application is 10 September 2026.
Roles & Responsibilities
Fieldwork
- Assist departments with field-based assignments and implementation activities.
Reporting
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and departmental project work.
Public Service
- Support public-facing initiatives and administrative tasks within the allotted department.
