The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU), through its School of Excellence in Law, is organising an international conference titled “United Nations and the Changing Global Order: Emerging Challenges, Peace, Human Rights and Sustainable Governance (UNCGO)” to commemorate the 81st United Nations Day.
About the Conference
The international conference seeks to commemorate the 81st United Nations Day by examining the changing nature of the United Nations, its inherent incapacities and its continuing indispensability. It will explore the transformation of the United Nations from a political organ into a legal organ and examine its expanding role in areas including peace and security, human rights, development, humanitarian affairs, international law, climate change and global governance.
Through expert-led discussions and interactive sessions, the conference seeks to foster a nuanced understanding of the United Nations, including its structural challenges, contemporary initiatives and continuing role as a platform for international cooperation and collective action.

Eligibility
The call for papers welcomes original research contributions from academicians and faculty members, research and Ph.D. scholars, undergraduate and postgraduate students, legal practitioners and advocates, judges and judicial officers, policymakers and government officials, industry and AI professionals, researchers, law firms and corporate legal departments, and international participants.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts need not be submitted separately; the abstract must be included on the first page of the full paper.
- Abstract: 200–300 words, briefly explaining the research gap, research methodology and research outcome, with not more than five keywords.
- Short Article: 3,000–5,000 words, excluding footnotes; submissions shall not exceed 5,000 words.
- Font: Times New Roman; font size — heading 14 pt, body 12 pt, footnotes 10 pt.
- Line spacing: main body 1.5; footnotes 1.0. Document format: MS Word only.
- Citation style: OSCOLA 5th Edition.
- Similarity index must not exceed 10%.
- Joint authorship is permitted for up to two authors only.
- Authors must not mention their details anywhere in the submitted article; author details should be provided only through the registration Google Form.
- Graphs, figures and tables, if any, must form part of the body of the text and should be appropriately numbered.

- Intimation of acceptance of full paper: October 18, 2026.
- Last date for registration and payment: October 20, 2026.
- Date of conference: October 26, 2026.
Registration Fee
- Students (UG and PG): Rs. 650 + GST = Rs. 767.
- Research Scholars: Rs. 1,000 + GST = Rs. 1,180.
- Faculties and Educators: Rs. 1,500 + GST = Rs. 1,770.
- Policy Experts: Rs. 2,500 + GST = Rs. 2,950.
- Law Firms and Senior Counsels: Rs. 5,000 + GST = Rs. 5,900.
- Advocates: Rs. 2,000 + GST = Rs. 2,360.
- International Participants: US $50.
- In case of co-authorship, each author is required to pay the respective registration fee.
Selection of Papers
Only 30 papers out of all submissions will be selected for presentation at the conference. Registration and fee payment shall be completed only after the authors receive intimation regarding the selection of their full paper.
Certificates and Best Paper Award
All presenters will receive certificates of participation in hard copy or soft copy, depending upon the mode of presentation. The Best Paper will be selected on merit and will receive a Certificate of Best Paper and a cash award of Rs. 5,000.
Publication Opportunity
All selected papers shall be published as an edited book with an ISBN number. Publication details will be communicated in due course after completion of the conference.
